Steel Tube Hydraulic Expansion by Water
The HES-80P expansion tube quick clamp is a tool specially designed for water pressure expansion of tubes in narrow spaces of tube-fins. The clamp can be quickly connected to smooth tubes and provide reliable sealing. In order to ensure safety, the clamp adopts spring pre-clamping and pressure compensation design. The higher the pressure, the greater the clamping force.
Operation steps - squeeze the handle to retract the clamp and expand the inner diameter, insert the tube into the clamp (insertion depth up to 100mm), then release the handle, extend the clamp (Gripper), reduce the inner diameter, and the clamp and the tube can form a reliable seal; then pressurize the tube to reach the set pressure, expand the heat exchange tube and fit it with the fin. Remember not to exceed the designed working pressure (due to wear of the clamp, the clamp will fall off the heat exchange tube, and the operator cannot stand behind the clamp). After the test, press the handle to pull the clamp off the tube.
